Night Dive

We are very enthusiastic about night diving so join us to explore the darkness around the island. As you submerge in the dark, you will meet a new world of marine life that comes out of hiding to play at night. The vibrant colours of aquatic animals are more pronounced under the beam of your dive light, and you never know what kind of nocturnal creatures you might come across. The tranquillity and serenity of diving at night are truly unmatched, and it's an experience that every diver should try at least once.

Even if you're an experienced night diver, there's always something new to discover and explore. At night we only see what we illuminate with a flashlight; our field of vision narrows, and we see much more details.

Small / Private Groups

At FlowState Divers, the safety and well-being of our divers are paramount, so we limit our groups to maximum of 3 divers / guide. This ensures that everyone is closely watched and paying attention to one another while diving.

Dive Gear

We do provide absolutely the best quality equipment to all our diver included in the price. We have the highest quality BCD's and regulators available on today's market including brands such as Apeks & XDeep. In addition to the apparent life support equipment, all divers - by local Spanish law - must carry a surface marker buoy (SMB), compass, and cutting device on every dive. In case you don't have your own, we will supply you with these, included in the price.

Free Pickup

For your convenience, we offer a pickup/drop-off service to your desired location free of charge around the south of the island. In case you are outside the free transport zone, we will calculate a fair price upfront, based on the mileage. We are enthusiastic about capturing photos and videos of all dives, and you can access these at no additional cost after your activity.

365 Days of Diving

Located in the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Africa, Tenerife is the largest of the seven Canary Islands and is a part of Spain.

Due to the subtropical climate it has warm temperatures year-round. Given the location of the island in the Atlantic Ocean and its proximity to the Gulf Stream, it has regulated water temperatures all year round - the lowest is 18° C/64° F (winter) and the highest is 23-24°C/73-75° F (summer).

Marine Fauna

Night diving offers a different perspective of the underwater world as compared to day diving. As sunset signals the end of the day for some animals, it marks the beginning of activity for many nocturnal creatures. Divers may have the opportunity to observe unique marine life, including squids, octopuses, eels, sea urchins, shrimps, lobsters, and crabs, that are more active at night. Additionally, there are lots of different shrimps, lobsters, and crabs that show up only at night.

One of the fascinating aspects of night diving is the opportunity to witness bioluminescence, where plankton-like organisms emit light when stimulated underwater. To fully appreciate this phenomenon, you should cover your flashlights and move your arms in the water, creating a mesmerizing display of tiny flashes of lights around you.
