More than one problem at a time - equipment, navigation, and a teammate under pressure.
Exalor suits divers who have felt one problem at a time and know that stacking is a different sport - attention, ego, and priority all under fire at once. They want the team to hold because someone still sequences when everything feels urgent.
They will accept layered scenarios and worst-case rehearsal as the training itself, until fixing your piece without dropping the team becomes reflex. If you want tidy single-fault drills, look elsewhere; if you want priority when several problems arrive together, Exalor is for you.
It is not for a weak mind, for those who want a quick result, or for divers who cannot cope with failure. Exalor digs where the challenge is sharpest - sequencing when several problems arrive at once, fixing your piece without dropping the team, and worst-case exposure before the water asks for it - and it will find those fault lines. If you are not fit for that work, stay away. Standards are the filter - not scarcity theatre.
Exalor is module three of XPERIENCE. It assumes everything confirmed in the full XBASE chain - Genesis through Furian - plus Velari and Deyron - team execution, composure when a single plan breaks, and the foundations beneath - and confirms layered resolution, independent problem-solving, strategic sequencing, and reflex under pressure. Velmora follows and assumes Exalor; Noctane builds on that base. With Velmora, Exalor completes the XPERIENCE-through-Velmora standard for XPLORE Guideline and for XTEND DPV once DPV opens for enrollment. Stage, Sidemount, Twinset, and Drysuit do not require Exalor.
Later training adds complexity; it does not replace what is built here. Skip it only through an assessment day that proves the same gates.

The full XBASE chain with a FlowState Divers mentor - Genesis through Furian - plus Velari and Deyron. Open Water certification from any recognised agency, valid scuba insurance, and the standard minimum equipment still apply. XPERIENCE is in person only. If you trained elsewhere, your mentor schedules an assessment day covering every missing module before training days begin.
Velmora follows Exalor. With Velmora, XPERIENCE through Velmora is the entry standard for Guideline in XPLORE and for DPV once DPV opens for enrollment. Your mentor confirms the five Exalor skills first.
XPERIENCE is in person only. Choose a FlowState Divers mentor (see available options here) and confirm you hold the entry standard: Open Water certification, valid scuba insurance, and XBASE Genesis through Driftar for Velari. Deyron onward requires the full XBASE chain, including Furian.
If you trained elsewhere, your mentor schedules an assessment day covering every missing XBASE module before training days begin. There is no online pathway for this bundle - no purchasable theory, no remote coaching, and no online module start.
No. XPERIENCE runs in a fixed order - Velari, Deyron, Exalor, Velmora, Noctane - and each module assumes the one before it. Velari is the entry and requires XBASE Genesis through Driftar; Deyron onward requires the full XBASE chain. Entering at a later module means demonstrating competency in every prior module, which your mentor confirms on an assessment day before training days begin.
No. Every XPERIENCE module is delivered in person with a FlowState Divers mentor - the scenarios are the training, and they happen in the water. There is no purchasable online learning material, no remote in-water coaching, and no online module start for this bundle. XBASE online learning material remains purchasable as an add-on, so you can keep revising the foundation between sessions.
Each module is two days and sixteen hours with your mentor across four in-water sessions, one-to-one or with your regular dive team of up to three. Every dive is run as a real one: a written plan, a team briefing with assigned roles, the dive, and a structured debrief.
Your mentor introduces the complications - a failure, a navigation drift, a task-loaded teammate - and governs their intensity. You move to the next module when readiness is demonstrated, not when the weekend ends.
FlowState Divers requires a minimum equipment set that must adhere to our standards. Some programmes have special equipment requirements that you need to verify on that programme's page before you start training. For the generic equipment list, check out our standards.
To train with FlowState Divers, you are required to be a certified diver. The minimum certification accepted is the Open Water Diver certification from any recognised agency.
In order to train with FlowState Divers, it is necessary to have valid scuba diving insurance that is recognised in the country where you will be completing your in-person training. If you do not currently possess insurance, it is advisable to contact your mentor prior to booking your training to explore your options. Your mentor may be able to assist in arranging suitable insurance, or they may provide guidance on the specific insurance requirements for the country in which your training will take place.
